Discover Our Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium

Uniting the World to End Tuberculosis - One Test at a Time
This World Tuberculosis Day, we invite you to join us in the global fight against this devastating disease. Together, we can work to eradicate TB by raising awareness and promoting cutting-edge solutions like our innovative Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium. Be part of the change as we improve diagnostic capabilities and save countless lives across the globe.
  • World Tuberculosis Day - A Time to Take Action
Every year on March 24th, we commemorate World Tuberculosis Day, marking the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced his discovery of the bacterium responsible for TB. Today, we continue to honor his breakthrough by raising awareness about the disease and advocating for better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • TB remains a global threat, with millions of people affected annually.
  • Early diagnosis and effective treatment are crucial in the fight against TB.
  • Join us as we spread the word and work together to create a TB-free world.
  • Our Solution - Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium

Our innovative Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium is designed to revolutionize TB diagnosis by enhancing the preservation and transport of sputum samples. Our transport medium offers:

  • Improved preservation of TB bacteria DNA, enabling accurate diagnosis.

  • Extended storage and transport times, allowing for testing in remote areas.

  • Increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness, supporting healthcare systems worldwide.

This product is specifically developed for the collection, transportation, and preservation of sputum specimen nucleic acids (DNA), ensuring the stability and integrity of the nucleic acids (DNA) in the collected samples. It provides high-quality DNA samples for subsequent PCR, qPCR, NGS, nucleic acid mass spectrometry analysis, and microarray analysis, among other gene detection and analysis experiments.

The following are performance examples:

In Figure 1, sputum samples were mixed with the preservation solution at a 1:1 ratio and stored at room temperature. DNA was extracted from samples taken at different time points. The main band of the sample preservation solution remained clear and showed no significant degradation after being stored at room temperature for one year, while competitor A (sputum digestion solution) and competitor B (cell preservation solution) showed evident degradation.

In Figure 2, sputum samples were mixed with the preservation solution at a 1:1 ratio and stored at room temperature. DNA was extracted from samples taken at different time points. The preservation solution can store the DNA in sputum samples at room temperature for at least 1 year.

In Figure 3, sputum samples were mixed with the preservation solution at a 1:1 ratio and stored at room temperature. DNA was extracted from samples taken at different time points. The preservation solution can store the DNA in sputum samples at room temperature for 1 year, with A260/280 > 1.8 and A260/230 > 1.8.

Benefits of Using Our Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium

By adopting our Sputum Specimen DNA Transport Medium, healthcare providers and diagnostic laboratories can expect:
  • Faster and more reliable TB diagnosis.
  • Reduced contamination and degradation of samples.
  • Enhanced access to testing in underserved regions.
  • Greater patient satisfaction and improved health outcomes.
The product can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 years before use. After sample collection, most of the nucleic acids (DNA) in the samples can be stably preserved at room temperature for several months upon arrival at the destination, with the nucleic acids (DNA) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis preserved for 1 month. For longer storage times, samples can be stored at 4°C, -20°C, or -80°C, depending on specific needs.
