Mantacc 96000E 2.75'' Sterile Short Foam Nasal Swab
The swab features a medical-grade PP handle and polyurethane foam tip manufactured through thermal compression technology. Its ergonomic design, combined with the foam's soft texture, ensures gentle anterior nasal sampling without causing harm. The foam exhibits high release efficiency in the nasal cavity, guaranteeing sensitivity and accuracy in rapid antigen tests. It is widely used for self-sampling in respiratory disease antigen detection (e.g., COVID-19, Influenza A) and is compatible with multiple antigen test kits.
Composed of layered foam with open cells, the swab gently moistens the oral cavity to loosen viscous mucus secretions, food residues, and thickened saliva. It is also utilized in ophthalmic surgeries. The foam's mesh structure traps microorganisms within its inner layers, limiting their release.

Instructions
[Instructions for use]
1) Peel apart the sterile package.
2) Position the patient's head at a 70° backward tilt. Select a nasal swab, noting that models with depth-indicating stoppers ensure anatomically appropriate insertion.
3) With gentle rotation, advance the swab <1 inch (≈2.5 cm) along the nasal floor (parallel to the palate) until encountering turbinate resistance.
4) Maintain rotational contact with the nasal mucosa for 5-10 seconds per nostril. Repeat identical collection in the contralateral nostril using the same swab.
5) Deposit the swab tip-first into transport media, submerging the head. Snap/Cut the handle at the scored breakpoint (drop it down directly and gently if there is no breakpoint), ensuring full tube closure without protruding edges to maintain seal integrity and prevent biohazard risks.
