Viral transport medium (VTM) is a buffered solution containing salts, protein, antibiotics and antifungal agents. It is used to collect, transport and maintain viruses contained in specimen samples so they can be preserved for testing and analysis.

【Product Preparation】
- Use sterile swabs to collect specimen sample
- Immerse swab tip in VTM and cut/break off shaft
- Cap tube securely and label appropriately
- Transport sample refrigerated at 2-8°C within 24 hours
【Storage Condition】
- Store unopened at 2-25°C away from light
- Do not use if signs of deterioration, leakage, pH change or contamination
- Opened tubes with specimen should be transported refrigerated
- Short preserve at 2-8℃ and long preserve at -80℃
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
