Mantacc 93050K 6'' Sterile Standard Flocked Oropharyngeal Swabs

The swab features a durable POM (polyoxymethylene) handle and a nylon-fiber flocked tip designed for effective oropharyngeal specimen collection. Its rigid shaft and densely flocked head ensure optimal surface contact and specimen collection while maintaining patient comfort during throat sampling. The flocked fibers maximize surface area for superior cellular and viral particle collection, enabling efficient specimen capture and rapid elution into transport media or test buffers. Ideal for detecting respiratory and throat pathogens (e.g., Strep, COVID-19) and compatible with PCR, viral culture, and rapid antigen testing protocols.

The 76mm breakpoint allows controlled separation of the swab tip into collection tubes, reducing contamination risk during specimen processing. The POM handle provides excellent dimensional stability and chemical resistance, while the breakpoint engineering ensures consistent separation under appropriate force, enhancing workflow efficiency in clinical testing environments.

Instructions

[Instructions for use]

1) Peel apart the sterile package.

2) Tilt the patient's head back 70°, gently depress the tongue using a tongue depressor, insert swab into the posterior pharynx and tonsillar areas.

3) Rub swab over both tonsillar pillars and posterior oropharynx and avoid touching the tongue, teeth, and gums.

4) Place the swab tip-first into the transport tube. Snap the handle at the 76mm breakpoint by bending or cutting, ensuring the swab fits snugly.

5) Securely tighten the cap to prevent leakage or contamination.

If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs, please stop use and ask a doctor.

[Warnings]

1) This is a single-use product, don't reuse it.

2) Keep away from flames or sparks.

3) Keep out of the reach of children.

4) Avoid soaking swabs with preservation solution before sampling.

5) Avoid repeated freezing-thawing.

6) If any damage of package, please do not use it.

7) If it is expired, please do not use it.

8) If you are allergic to sponge and plastic material, please do not use it.

9) Please do not eat, smoke or drink 30 minutes before sampling, to avoid affecting the sampling effect.

10) The used products should be treated according to local medical waste regulations, and cannot be disposed of carelessly.
