The flocked fibers maximize surface area for superior cellular and viral particle collection, enabling efficient specimen capture and rapid elution into transport media or test buffers. Ideal for detecting respiratory and throat pathogens (e.g., Strep, COVID-19) and compatible with PCR, viral culture, and rapid antigen testing protocols.
The 79mm breakpoint allows controlled separation of the swab tip into collection tubes, reducing contamination risk during specimen processing. The POM handle provides excellent dimensional stability and chemical resistance, while the breakpoint engineering ensures consistent separation under appropriate force, enhancing workflow efficiency in clinical testing environments.
